General Maintenance Person - Handy Person

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced General Maintenance - Handy Person to join our team. As a General Maintenance worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine maintenance task in our warehouse facilities & properties both on & offsite, in and outdoors.
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as repairing or replacing faulty equipment, fixtures.
- General gardening & ground maintenance, maintaining our extensive grounds.

- Perform & address minor plumbing tasks.
- Carry out minor building & carpentry work.
- General preparing and painting of surfaces both interior & exterior.
- All round janitorial tasks.

- General warehouse tasks such as order pick/packing, stock management, delivering orders etc.

Skills:
- The role will suit a genuine semi professional "all rounder" with experience in general maintenance.
- Must be able to work effectively equally alone & as part of a team.
- Ability to used a variety of power tools & equipment safely & efficiently.
- The ability to identify maintenance tasks that require attention & see areas that may require improvement or additional attention & find effective solutions.
- Hold a full UK driving licence or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
